Hey everyone. Newbie to this site. Fixing up my girlfriends sled. Took the secondary off and noticed the centre bolt had 4 washers on it. The washers all were the same, zinc yellow and looked very factory. Just surprised as this limits how much threads the bolt screwed into the driveshaft. I'm assuming this is allowing the secondary to float for belt alignment. I called a buddy with an xc 600 of the same year and he only had one washer on his so I'm wondering now if this is alright. I hope I am explaining this right. Can anyone verify this ?

They are there from factory and are made to add or take away along with the ones right behind the secondary to allow it to float and align with pto better.
Sometimes people just leave it alone but they are meant to be taken or added to allow float.

Don't worry about the threads there is plenty.
