Whats the skinny on this? Similar to vehicle flash/tune?
Here is the details

"PRODUCT ANNOUNCEMENT: NATURALLY ASPIRATED ECU REFLASH
Looking for improved throttle response, increased horsepower and torque along with better reliability from your naturally aspirated Ski-Doo, Polaris or Arctic Cat? Welcome to the Silber NA REFLASH.
We have spent the last year behind the scenes tuning different sleds to enhance factory performance and improve reliability. Taking what we have honed for many seasons on the boosted side of things, we are now applying the same tuning process to the naturally aspirated side of things.
We are now ready to release a line of ECU reflashes for the following naturally aspirtaed sleds.
Polaris 800 HO (2016 to current)
Arctic Cat Ctec 2 800
Ski-Doo 850
We also spent a significant amount of time tuning the more popular big bore and stage 1-4 offerings by many manufacturers including the Trygstad 927. We had immense success with our 927 tunes on the race course, and are thrilled to offer it to big bore customers looking for better performance all the while ditching the antiquated control box.
Some of the highlights of the ECU reflash to a stock sled are below:
6-10 HP (Depending on Year, Make, Model)
Improved throttle response
Improved oil pump calibrations
Improved Air/Fuel Ratios geared toward maximum output and dependabiity
Improved logic with sensor inputs
Improved timing calibrations
Torque gains throughout the RPM range
Easily returned to stock , if necessary
Custom Tunes available depending on current workload and travel schedule. Email us for details.
Please contact us anytime with questions or concerns=
Pricing: $350; add a flash cable for a $600 total"

This is perfect so my buddy on his new 19 doo 850 will wonder why his is slower and less crisp. Curious what the flash cable entails for dbl the price.

I’m in. Can’t be any worse than the high elevation mapping that my stock 16 came with.

Can Polaris see a footprint of this if warranty work is needed if flashed back?

U would think it would be like a vehicle. They would have to prove the failed part(s) or issue was a direct cause of the tune..

Gamble for sure tho..

You will need the cables to do the actual flash, or find a local dealer that has them, or send your ecu in.

Ridiculous price then.
Hardly, the electronics are not cheap to build the adapter to allow flashing. Its more then just a simple little jumper cable. Just look at the current alternative, a power commander, your looking at 300-500 depending on fuel/ignition options, and the tech still isnt nearly as capable and has to be left installed on vehicle. Buy one adapter and you can flash all the sleds you want with it (you just need the vin locked flash for each vehichle)

I am hoping to get mine flashed and done this week for some real world reports. The world of unlocked ecu's obviously is something we all enjoy in the truck world. Very excited to see what we can do in the sled world.

If you want to buy a cable yes the flash is $600 but there are many Silber dealers around the country that have a flash cable and can flash if for you by either going to one of them or sending the ecu to them to get flashed for $350.

Did u miss the full price? $600. Yes that’s rediculous for a flash with only 6-10hp gain.

Ya I did not miss the price... Like said there is many Dealers/Customers around with the cables. Worse case you mail it in quick... The price is $350 for the flash..

350 isnt bad for cost to hp, but who with a warranty is going to want to waste weeks sending back to flash to stock, then send back to flash again. The reality is ur gonna spend 600 if u don’t live next door. $100 per 1hp on low end is pricey.
