previous owner ran amsoil....any ill effects switching to cat oil?

You mean other than not having to clean your PV ?

I was referring to manufacturer's warnings that users must continue to use their oil due to it's lack of "compatibility" with others, leaving consumers to believe that if you mix Brand X oil with Brand Y oil you'll create mustard gas and kill yourself and seize your engine. I defy anyone to find a combination of oils that stops it from burning and being slippery (which is, after all, what we're looking for in an oil.)

Obviously a synthetic will keep your PVs more clean, and using an oil with a pour-point well under winter conditions makes good sense.

hey , never blend oils wether car sled , simple never blend!! 10 grand sled and worried bout 50 cents worth of oil , run cat oil and never worry!!!
