i have a 2004 800 rmk and need to hook up the 12v for my heated visor. is there a specific source for this? wire color near steering post or dash would be helpful. thanks
You need a yellow wire, and a ground (brown), if you get a flat 3 trailer wire harness and cut off one of the leads (Make a 2 wire) you can plug it in, either by the steering post behind the airbox, by the voltage reg, or by the key switch, otherwise you'll have to splice onto something.
