I have a 18' MC 153, it's the best sled i ever have.
My previous sled are:
16 M8000 LTD 162
14 ProRMK 600 155
11 M8 162 SP
09 M8 162
07 M8 153
My best buddy have a 16' Axys 155 that i liked a lot.... but now he like my Mountain Cat more that his sled.:face-icon-small-hap
Old M-series are easy to ride on steep sidehill and i missing this with Proclimb chassis. My 16' dont ride like my 09-11' M sled on elevator trick, or steep sidehill, but narrow wideboard help alot but panel-out is a panel-out.
New MC are just perfect, i choose a 153 and i dont have any regret, Lockout does a great job on steep climb, D/R get on top of snow, narrow panel dont have too square corner like older panel and run free on snow, seriously it's a beast. it's not a proclimb, it's really a new Ascender Chassis!
For hater, stop to tell that Cat do a ****. Poo and Doo has same marketing strategy, look XP to XM and Pro-ride to Axys, same tunnel but few mods and new panel, new engine, and new things

sold 16 rmk, bought a MC. really, really liked my RMK, best sled i had....will see how this MC is. wanted a change. So far mostly impressed with new clutch. Felt better than my RMK's....first thing i noticed in difference between the 2.
spent some time on one this weekend, the stock skis need to be replaced with the grippers.

Is the cooling setup any different on these? Short bulkhead cooler like the 16?
yes short cooler. on hard pack it was about 5 deg warmer than my 16.
