Has anyone done it yet? Compiled a parts list of what all is needed?

Mine is turbo application so won't need intake but before I start ordering parts I am wondering if anyone has done it yet.

Lots of little pieces on the parts fiche curious if they are all necessary.

We have kits available in to upgrade your machine in two versions. We have the narrowest 2018 plastic, and it comes with our Promax cold air intake. And we also have the RS style black plastic that will bolt right on the 2012-2017 models.

Keep in mind the 2012-17 models have a wider oil tank than the 2018 models. So to upgrade to the 2018 plastic most people will upgrade to our lightweight chaincase cover and oil tank kit.

Also keep mind that you should install our Ascender series running boards because the new tunnel is narrower. Even with our original design running boards, which are 1" narrower than stock, the front loop is different because the footwell area is different for 2018.

If you have a 2017 mountaincat, the 2018 plastic kit will fit, but because it has the newer style footwell area.

The complete kit with our cold air intake is $1295.

We have developed a new pod with recessed LED headlights, air intake, fly screen, gauge mounting, and clear headlight cover that will come with the kit. I will have pictures of the production pieces later this month.

Here is a link to the kit on our website.

Got my plastics conversion completed over the weekend. Turned out awesome. The install was very easy. Well worth it this sled is skinny skinny now! I did end up with several pieces I didn't need and also missing a few but overall wasn't too bad. With the new BDX kits being cheaper and offering more options I would probably consider those if I was doing it again just to not have so much back and forth of returning and purchasing parts. But if you get a good deal on cat parts from your dealer you may still end up cheaper piecing it together.

I'm thinking of doing the Mountain Fit hood for the ascender and then the rest OEM.. What are your thoughts on that? I'm thinking it would make the whole thing go a little smoother, with a better/lighter finished product.. do you have a updated parts list for what you did? I have a 17 as well. and currently doing tki belt drive.

I updated the list above to be more accurate but still might end up with extra hardware and missing small pieces. I had a bad experience with my mountain fit hood ingesting snow so I prefer the factory stuff it is really pretty light its just better built. Keep in mind my list doesn't include any intake parts at all as I have a turbo intake and reused everything off my 16 for that. Especially if you need intake parts tho that BDX kit for $1000 is a good deal. I was easily close to that without any intake.
