1998 xcr 440 problems

Hey guys well hopefully someone can help me out, ive got a 98 xcr 440 ves motor and i cant find any of the exhaust bellows, since polaris decided to be dicks and stop making them, anyways just seeing if anyones got one of these sleds laying around or the parts laying around. Im in dire need of these things to get this thing going and out of the garage. I dont have the money for a new motor right now! thanks guys:face-icon-small-dis

Doesn't look good. The design of the exhaust valve changed from 98 to the more current designs in 99 on. Looks like the 98 was a one-off design. That being said, you can see lots of Polaris engine schematics at babbittsonline.com and you may see something that can work - maybe changing the whole exhaust vave assembly (99 440 XCR SP), never know. yeah thats what im thinking gonna have to happen just switching over to a whole top end off a 99 but i wasnt sure if it would bolt right up or not, wonder if an iq 440 top end would work?

According to the parts matrix you cant just swap top ends. The rods on the 98 arent the same length as the 99 and 2K 440's. They cross over with 02-07 500's and 600's so without changing the rods I dont think its going to be a go to swap that 99 top end on.
