Probably a stupid question. I’ll ask anyway because its bugging me. It looks like my beeper broke in 2. The siren side is no where to be found and the side the wires connect to fell down to the back side of the engine. Its not likely I’m going to fork over $60-$70 for that thing. Can I unplug both wires and tape them up out of the way? Does it need to stay plugged in to the posts and I tape that up out of the way?

I just put a pigtail with a light on it. That way I can still have some sort of notification that I’m in reverse

Also have a Polaris with no beep and I have, on occasion, had to have a 2nd look at the gauge.
