I want to install a 159x16 on my 02 summit 151. Can i get the extra length i need with a billet axle wheel combo or do i need extentions? I know someone out there can help. thanks

4" is a bit to make up for in big wheels and offset...

you could go 156x16 w/ big wheels and offset on the 151 rails..or w/e your current setup is.

lot of 156 options out there too..depending on pitch/lug etc..

In 02, the skid was moved backward, so you probably have the 144 skid with your 151 already. I don't think you could run bigger without extensions.

you would need extensions, the ZX has a 15" wide but you can get the 16" in. there were some threads on this awhile back, maybe in the old forum?

move the skid back 4" measure carefully!! you might have to grind down some rivetts and bolt heads for clearance. also move rear track mounting brackets to outside of tunnel by slotting running board where they will come through. Did thiis on a 99 summit 670 and it worked perfect.

Setback

You only need a 2.5" set back ;):beer;w/o the big wheel kit for the 156 (2 more 2.52 pitches). With the big wheel you only need to set back about 1.75" and you are golden. The 16 wide is no problem.
