I've been using the 37C4604 on my prolite with no problems. I just seen your post and used Gates online lookup and wholla now there is a belt listed for the 2013s and 2014s. Its number is 41C4620. They have no sizing info listed so I'm guessing this Is there version of the 084.

It's the belt that is listed for the 2012 800. So I think it would be the 083 replacement. It runs about the same as the 084 my sled came with. As soon as Gates puts up the measurements on this new belt I'll order one in and try it out.

the 37c4604 belt that they show crosses to both Cat part numbers. The problem with it is it is shorter and narrower than the Cat belt. I have been running the Gates belt that they show for an 05 King Cat. It's the right width, and a tiny bit longer, so when you set your deflection it gives you a real good low gear, but there is not as much room to adjust as the belt wears. Performance is as good or better than the Cat belt, and much cheaper. Part number is 40G4683.

From Gates website: 37G4604/37C4604 is 47.25" Long X 1.375" W

40G4683 is 46.827" Long X 1.406"

The 084 Cat belt according to Cat:

0627-084 is 47.519" Long X 1.448" W
The new Gates number 41C4620 is cross matched to the 084 on Gates website. FWIW

I know that they show the measurements that way, but it isn't true if you lay them side by side and compare. I think Gates uses a defective tape measure. I ran into this problem even on the old M7, there belt was so short it wouldn't possibly work. They cross info they had on the old 0627010, and 0627020 was backwards also. I hope the new number is correct.

I ordered the new number and will report back its measurements. I also have a new 37C4604 to measure and compare.

Just got the 41C4620 in and it measures 1.423" Wide by 47.45" long. It's sleeve indicates its length as 1-3/32" x 47 3/8". Used a caliper to measure its width and tape measured it's length.

Rode it all weekend (4620) and the clutches are running cool as the 084 did. Very impressed with fit, put it on with the large washer and a small washer and it rides about even with the secondary. Seems Gates now has a real replacement for the 084. Hope you guys out West will give it a rip and see if an affordable replacement has been found.

I would now buy this over the previous belt (4604 above) as that one is a bugger to get the deflection adjusted right with it being narrower.

So will the 37G4604 work as well? That's what the guy at Napa sold me when I told him I needed a belt for a 2013 m800.

Yes. The 37g4604 is the same as the 37c4604, but the 37c4604 is the carbon fiber cord belt. Supposed to be stronger and more expensive. I run the G series and have great luck with them.

I ran the "c" belt for three days last weekend, about 200 miles, with no issues at all. Performed to my liking :)

I picked up a 41C4620 and put it on after i blew my 084. The gates is way too short. I am now running NO shims in the adjuster and its still tight. It is acting weird too. Kinda jumpy off idle and shifts right away! Whats going on here??

So those off you that are running the 37C4604, did you have you change any shims or washers from 084? Just picked one up but have it in my bag as a spare and haven't tried to put on, guess I should check huh?!?:face-icon-small-ton
