someone show me how this new system works

When i click the thanks button it isnt giving thanks to whom i have clicked it worked lastnight as i have thanked one person but now it wont credit people for me i click the button it disapers i hit refresh and nothing ?????
so instead of the rep thread we are now going to have the thanked thread
Not sure how this site is set up, but over on Snow&Mud.com, I have given over 36,000 thanks!

Seems like the new trend will be to makes changes just cause he can. If the rep or post counts had little to no value because of all the whoring (guilty here) what makes Christopher think another rating system is going to be any different?
I repeat scrub it and move on to more pressing matters, like keeping the site open so people can access it without getting locked out for half the day.

If you think it's so useless, why are you using it?
Seems the same old trend of complaining about things that don't really have much effect is going to continue regardless of any changes...
If people would take things a little more serious, some of this stuff could actually be a benefit.
I know, this is where people come to not be serious, so that's not gonna happen.

People have been complaining that the rep count and post count have no value because of whores, like myself. The new admin was hoping to create a new system but as we all know we (see that includes me) are going to create a game out of it. My point was that if he is going to spend time changing the current system he might as well do something that is a benefit to how it operates, not giving people something more to complain about.
Now run along and play........but don't forget to thank me on the way out. :beer;

Right now this is just a new toy.
Given time though, if it is not abused and used right, you will find that this is a huge help in finding the best material on the site.
Give it a month to settle in and then evaluate the worth of it.
WHO is getting the Thanks Credit then if not the person you intended it to go to?

by popular demand we could use a "thats gay button" in the washington section
How about a Monster logo for every worthwhile post? That way if that person has a lot on little Monster logos on his/hers profile we will all know that said person is the bomb and breathing his/hers farts would be an honor.
