I have a cutler 950 bb on a 2011 crossfire 800 @0-3000ft. I have a intake and a full slp exhaust and a set of reeds on it. My temps are around 1050f and the sled is holding 8000rpm's like cutler told me to run it at. Im not at all impressed when a cfr 800 with reeds a ypipe and rktek porting can mop the floor with me from start to finish. Anyone got any suggestions? Ive been reading that this are good kits

things to consider..

If your cf is stock you have the 1 3/8 lug, 141 long, and are geared different that the cfr. That little 128 x 1 track they have will spin a lot faster... They are almost as close to a purpose built lake shooter as you can buy from the factory. I agree with you though that with your big bore and all the extra $ you have in yours, you should be coming out on top.

the cfr has 1 3/4 track.
I have a 2.25 which is hooking up pretty good. 60/60 gearing. Orange and black primary spring with the cutler secondary setup amd his green spring. Rock rollers.

well your temps are not relevant at this point...if your wash and plugs are looking good then maybe the temps are relevant.

You have to tune in your four throttle positions...1/4 1/2 3/4 and WOT (5 /15 /30/ seconds or more if you can) check your wash and plugs (although enough time for wash often cannot get established but the plugs can) and tune each section.

Then your egt temps become relevant...you may find 1250 the reference point..

It all takes time..some people go pig rich in each section and tune downward and can tell by the crispness increasing that they are getting close.

Many ways to skin a cat..but did Cutler have starting numbers for you..

Well if dale tells you to run 1050* ???
Anyways what gr weights and brand? And your 60/60 is only good for 90 MPH for racing as you never include overdrive in your ideal top speed .

How much weight did you have to add with the 950 vs your old set up?? I was hoping to see good reviews with this.
