Have one laying in the garage. Thoughts on this snail for an 08 700 RMK? Have a stock head to swap mine out with. Other mods so far are in my sig. Ride about 9k and up, few climbs, a few trees, boondocking etc... nothing crazy.

I'd like to piece together all the other bits slowly this season and do a spring time build. PG, probably no intercooler for now. Want to leave some room for more if I want.

Basically wondering if the smaller hot side and larger compressor wheel are out of the 700's realm.

Thanks!

--.64 a/r hot side will burn up a 800 motor motor, maybe ok with a 700 but need to really research it. . You need .82 .84 .86 (whatever) a/r hot side for an 800 2 stroke.-- 71 .60 a/r comp side would be fine for a 700. An 800 really likes a 71 .70 a/r comp housing or a 2876 especially at altitude.

Thanks,

I assume most of the Garrett based kits out there are using the t25 turbine housings, and not the t31 housings? My 2871 is the t25 turbine housing. ATP has an .86 a/r t25 housing for ~$225 and t31 .63's for $250. Both to fit the 2871 chra, but the t25 is internally gated, so potentially a less complicated setup.

So, assuming one has the correct turbo, who offers a 'complete' kit minus the turbo? Such a thing?

--Call Twisted or OVS as they seem to run mostly the bigger 2871 and 2876 turbos and they have high altitude experience.
