04 rmk 800 turbo

I am considering turboing my 02 rmk,
would like to fabricate everything myself,

guess I'm not the first one, does anybody know of a good project thread?
so I don't need to "invent the wheel again"

what about using the injector oil pump for lubricating a BB turbo?
is that an ok thing to do?

or how powerful oil pump would i need if i go with a non-BB turbo?

Check the carb turbo thread in the perf/modified section. The injector oil pump is not recomended.

I know you said you want to fab it your self but I've got a aero 53 kit all set up with every thing you need. PM me if your interested

I use the injector oil pump on my bb turbo. Works great. I know others doing the same thing. Just manifold all the lines into one fitting and run it to the turbo. Easy and sure beats running an electric pump.

yes you can run your injection pump and it will work great. just unhook it from your throttle cable open it up all the way wire tie it and tee all line together like they have said.

you will have fun doing your own and will learn a ton in the process.
