2011 with just over 4000 miles and it was headed for a major break down. the Mag side cylinder has a vertical crack starting in the middle of the rear intake transfer port where the fuel is injected.

I have a '12 Pro. Glad I had warranty when I bought it. Didn't have an engine failure but used the warranty.

1000 miles.... Clutch sheared in half. Dealer rebuilt engine under warranty. New Crank, Rods and Clutch. Worked in my favor.

1100 miles.... I installed a RKT Drop in kit. When I took the cylinder off everything looked mint. I had the cylinder honed for piece of mind. Good thing. Found a crack on the intake side transfer port that would have faliled. Warranty covered the cylinder and I installed the RKT kit. Couldn't be happier with it. Bought an extended warranty.... LOVE THIS SLED!!!!

2500 miles on my Assault RMK and broken piston skirt, went through the bottom of the engine. Happened out in Island Park, can't even describe the fun we had towing it off the mountain.

I have an 11 Pro Rmk with 1500 miles on it. The stator went out the second day on our trip out west. Got the stator replaced and found out the both of the injectors failed as well. Still waiting on the injectors. Up until then ran great. Just shut the sled off and went to start it and it would not fire.

My 2011 broke a piston skirt then cylinder skirt and blew 2 holes in the bottom of the case at 2511 miles 4 weeks ago.Got it back last week with a new crate motor,80 miles of break in on it now.Glad I had the snowcheck 4 year warranty. If it didn't have warranty I would have done pistons at 2000 miles.

2012 polaris assault I didn't have problems until right at 1000 miles. The clutch spring was broke, the fuel filter was almost plugged. Then at about 1200 miles the injectors and a exhaust sensor needed to be replaced. I learned do not over look changing out the fuel filter because it will cause big problems if it gets too far!

My 2011 Assault SB just laid an egg on me this weekend after putting in a new RK Tek topend at the beginning of the season. Sleds got 3600 miles. Something went in the lower end with a loud bang cluck bang. Motor is not locked up but she is not in good shape. Update later in the spring once we tear it down. So bummed, thought I was being proactive by putting in new pistons and rings at 3k just to have something on lower end go out 600 miles later. Hard to explain to the wife. Sure am glad I had my 14 Pro on the trip with me so I could drag up the year in our yearly couples trip. At least I looked cool.
