Actual was 4-7 feet....two week totals were 5-13 feet. It was a good storm...good and wet/heavy/dense/thick/soupy etc :face-icon-small-ton. Short window for getting the snow when it was good...but snowed another 20" last night and its blower. Gotta love Sierra storms!

Don must be buried and to busy for report or pics

I just returned last night.

Yes some areas of the Sierra Nevadas got a lot of snow.

For mammoth here is what I rode in the last 3 days.

Fresh snow past the knees or deeper in the meadows

Minaret had over 4 feet and was a stuck fest.

203 loop area had 3-5 feet heavy snow.

crater flats 3 feet

east side to Baldy Mtn had 3 plus feet.

craters had many bald spots but shade was 4 plus feet

Bald mountain was blown to bush tops BUT made a great cornice 1/2 mile long.

powder in the shade

Storm on the 20th very cold froze up base with 1/2 foot powder ontop.

Yep no snow next 10 days with temps over 50F at 8000 feet.

Winds can blow over 100MPH during storms causing drifts , cornice and bald spots.
This warm air gonna erode lots of snow

Im sure the riders near Truckee are having a great time !

If El Nino kicks in where gonna get a real storm.

So uh … whose done the 108 Sonora pass in this storm … I like great stories

I live in zip code 91320. onlong the 101 west of downtown LA You passed less than a mile from my house from Santa Barbara south near the Conejo grade in Camarillo.

I have family here and married a beach bunny over 20 years ago. Now we're a couple of beached whales :face-icon-small-sho

Like most we are outta here when we retire.

Strange thing is I lived in farmland my teen years and my nearest neighbor was 1/2 mile ... seen them every few days . In LA I don't see my neighbors 50 feet from me for months. Same with property in the mountains.
