Temp sensor Ecu code. Adverse affects if ridden?

My sled threw the ecu 05 code today. It’s a 2016 m8. Seemed to still run fine on the way home. Does anyone have any experience riding their sled with this code? I went through the connects with dielectric. Haven’t had a chance to put the volt meters to it. I also have a spastic gauge clutster, might be related?

Not a biggy...it just goes safest. Still runs well.

Also, most of these "fail" due to the cheesy/bad plug-in connectors. Direct solder/connect the connectors and see if it's fixed. If not, there is a thread about these and buying the same sensor for pennies on the dollar compared to the Arctic Cat price (which is absurd).

Good thread on this:

might look at the blue and black wires in the intake to make sure they are plugged in. not a 17 pipe temp code.

Yeah, it’s the air temp sensor. Went for a ride today, didn’t throw the code. Maybe just had some water on the sensor/plugs?
