850 Cylinder corrosion???

Hey i was just wondering if anybody has seen this before?? i bought a bore scope and thought i check my cylinders. i know at first look it looks like something has let go but the pistons an rings look deadly has 145psi on both side sled runs good. but its just pited to all **** n looks rusted both side are exactly the same.

I have noticed the same thing in mine, not as bad as that but some red showing at top of cylinder. I just chalked it up to starting it up in trailer and moving it into garage and shutting it down without it getting up to temperature. Lots of moisture in there from heat cycles in the enclosed trailer. :noidea:

wow looks super porous and chitty. Is harbor freight building these cylinders? Lol. run it til it blows and get new motor

Put good gas in it n roll! Got warranty right? Kinda like the cargo planes I fly..... you don’t do a good detailed preflight or you will scare yourself!

anybody else have any pics of There's?? I'm running a turbo so warrenty might be a little tuff. Im just having a hard time believing that's what the new coating is suspose to do if thats actually the case
