I have a 2015 Pro RMK, that i just bought. I have SLP blue/pink 140/340 primary spring, standard polaris secondary black/purple 160/240 and weights for 10,000 feet. I want to put some break in miles on sled in the UP of Michigan. I know I need to change weights to the 10-68. Do I need to make any spring changes for the low elevation?

Thanks in advance.

I run my 6-8000 clutching (except for weights) when I am at home (2100') without issues. Saying that, we don't get a whole bunch of snow at home so imperfect clutching is a minor issue.

i left springs alone on mine, changed to 10-66 because thats all that was available locally at the time and they would be better than the 10-62's that were in it. started out hitting 8150-8200...by end of day i was hitting 8350. I need to order a set of 10-68's. everything else felt good and think 10-68 will be just about right.

oh and this was in Seney, MI.

I run 10-68s and stock springs in Michigan and pull 8100 down hardpack with a 230 lb plus gear rider. My helmet cam tells me I was at 1400 feet for most of the day. On a 15 RMK 800 just south of Houghton.

Sell your 62's and 66's and buy Cutler's adjustables 60 to 70 gram weights. Less than $200.00 to your door (shipping included) and you can add or subtract weight just by opening the side panel. Doesn't get any easier than that. Unless you have a turbo, here is the IT version. They have Turbo Mag weights as well.
