Hmm..

Well this Satuday i was cleaning my Exh. Valves on my 2011 Pro RMK 800..

1600 miles Yes. this is my third cleaning them. Got them Clean ready to go back in and :light: in my head went off!!

What about the hoses going to the Valves..

Hmm.. So i took them off.. looked inside... Pretty Clean..

What i didn't like is when i pushed a Qtip through the T.. out came a 5/8 long oil turd!

So my 2 cents.. also Just change out the T and hoses with NEW when going through all the work to clean them!!!

Is there a trick to getting the PTO side out?

Do you have to remove the steering post that is in the way?

Getting ready to clean my valves and notice I have 0 oil drainage
in the belly pan, thinking my hose might be plugged to. Just wondering
how much drainage every one else is seeing? Kinda use to the Dragon mess I all ways had and have never seen it with the Pro.

unbolt the steering shaft and slide it over out of the way, then you can pull the valve cap, then the valve...

I unbolted those two 13mm bolts and took the post block out of the way and I still couldn't get the exhaust valve out.

I guess I didn't move the skis back and forth enough to remove it.

So, this is my first polaris with exhaust valves. Do I just unbolt all four bolts, or just the two to pull the valve out? Is pulling the pipe necessary?

Cleaned my valves today, have 1300 miles, valves did not need much cleaning,
checked the tubes and they were dry and not plugged, the diaphrams had a lot of oil under them, should the tubes be dry or is something not working ?

Where the Buffalo roam
Tubes should be dry as well as outer side (cap) of bellows otherwise you have a leak.
It does not take alot more than a pinhole to make a mess.
