another racer tip is to, put zipties around the lower shock tubes, and monitor the suspension travel. you should feel the sled bottom every once in a while, not on every bump.
you should use almost all of the travel or they can be a harsh ride (floats/air shocks).

once you get where you like it, and you have found your sweet spot, make a mental note where the tie rides, and then the ties help you monitor the travel usage, for future settings changes, to help you get your settings back to your baseline. ski
