So today we were riding in 2 feet of powder with a very set up base underneath. Both sleds great on flat areas and sidehilling. But serious climbing is a different story

18, 162 my cat, and a 17 162 mountain cat.
17 does not wheelie and stays under control., 160 psi in rear shock
18, with same rider, wheelies and out of control.
Tried position 2 and lock out on 18, no real difference
Question is, will increasing the psi on the 18 make much difference.
Any other ideas,
Thanks

idunno if this will help but my sled wanted to turn up hill hard all the time and i dropped my fts down from 75 to 55 and went from 160 to 170 in rear. fixed my issue.

so to answer, small changes make huge differences with the rear. i was surprised at how much difference the tinkering changed its handling.

#3 should keep the skis planted.
My 18 climbs great on #2, not out of control at all. I use #3 when its real steep and deep.
145psi rear and 85psi front.

I run at 40 psi FTS and 145 psi RTS. When i take a bump trail, i set FTS at #2 or #3 clicker.

Maybe on spring snow i will put more psi on FTS but for now, it's work great.

Can someone explain how adjusting each shock and suspension adjustment affects the performance of the sled?
