We have spent the last two weeks testing - the last week with Team Thunderstruck. We have 6 1100Ts with us. Two were certified belt blowers. 4 sleds have 275hp, one has 300 and my sled has 320. Yesterday we were in bottomless the entire day. I blew 2 belts within the first 30 minutes on mine. The cause - snow getting on the clutches through a vent that sits on top of the clutch & a cracked belly pan. We blocked off these vents and made sure no snow could get into the clutch area. After that, the rest of the day was spent climbing and boondocking without any other belt issues. There were many 20-30 second full throttle climbs. One of the certified belt blowers that was with us spent the whole day railing on his sled - no issues. We believe we are very close to solving the belt issue for the majority of the sleds out there.
