Are you looking or buying?

I just took an 06 m7 in trade and striped back to stock and will use parts to make an pump gas m8.

I just think that an M8 is so much better. Don't get me wrong the m7 turbo's run but not as good and as consistent as an M8.

I have to agree with MM. The earlier TM7s were rather "short fused". Sure there were some that ran very well. The only problem, they were high maintenance. The ones I have been around anyway, this has been the general consensus.

I have thousands of miles on my TM-7 and it has been great!! I typically beat on the thing at 12-16 psi and I just do the required turbo sled maintanence. Check things over. I usually will eat a set of reeds at about 1500 miles. That's about it though.

The M8 IS the most consistant turboed sled I have ever seen........but pound for pound on boost the M7 will beat it.

The thing with the M7 is that you need a high volume fuel pump because the stator does not like to run 2 of them and you need to pull the pipe, cut the factory seam, and reweld it. Most of the issues I have seen have been with cracking pipes and stators, which can both be eliminated.

For a guy looking to get into the turbo scene a good used M7 at $3500-4500 plus a turbo kit $4000-6000 is a SAWEET $7500-8500 sled.

You just have to make sure it is set up right and you will be fine.
