FYI. I talked with SPOT a couple of days ago to ask them about a possible upgrade program from the SPOT I to the new SPOT II. They are rolling out a program in late Nov or early Dec. They would not provide details but I'm sure it will be better than buying the new one and trying to sell your old one.

X2. Lost the one I had last year, current SPOT I is brand new. I'm sure these work fine but like the idea of having the new one (cover over 911 button, signal sent indicator etc).
