Is there anyway to unhook knock sensor that giving everyone trouble??

I've talked a read several post on people with m's having issues. I have a 07 with mods, and it goes off once in awhile, ive looked at the pistons and look great, plugs don't look lean. when your climbing and it goes into over the bars mode, that suks. I run either 100 av gas or 50/50 race to 70% race on a engine that requires 50/50. Wish i could just eliminate the thing and be done with it..............

try tightening it a quarter turn. You can also just unscrew it and zip tie it to something that it won't rattle against. Before you unhook it, I would make sure that you are not detonating. They are pretty sensitive and you may not always be able to see evidence of the det they are sensing. Good Luck.

unscrew it, drill the correct size hole in the tin steering post cover, and put a nut on the backside of it, I have had mine out forever with no probs

If I remember right, that SPX hillclimb motor came with instructions to relocate the knock sensor.
