jet/high idle question

03 edge xcsp 600
had 400mains in it when i bought it...
decided that id put the stock 430s
back in for the wife. the sled started
and ran great with the 400s
same with the 430s EXCEPT
idle is at 2000rpms
shes def idleing higher than before
any ideas

The mains only affect throttle position over about 3/4, and not anything to do with idle speed or mixture.

Any chance that a throttle cable got stretched, routed wrong, pulled too tight, etc? That would completely explain why it is idling higher.

true.... will check first thing in the am... i did turn the idle screw and it idled fine but put it back to where it was since it was running perfect at that setting before

everything looked good this am... still high idle.. gonna try carb spray and check for leaks
