Hey guys.

I know this has been beat to death, but I have yet to see any comparisons to the 16 pro climb 36 inch front end. It's obviously better than the old Pro climb 38 but how does it stack up against the Skinz, Alt impact, bdx, and barcode kits? I'm more interested in a technical tree riding set up with ease of sidehilling, downhill turns and ease of laying over on its side the primary focal points.

Personally I have the 38 inch zbroz kit with the new spindles. It's awesome and great for the guy who enjoys technical riding but still wants a somewhat stable trail ride. So I'm sure there is room to improve in the technical side of things.

If you tried one of the kits or all of the kits I'd love to have a group of opinions in one place.

While its on an 800 Im using barcode on a 15 right now. Im going to write a full review on them in the next couple days. But I can say that its a very nice kit and makes a 15 800 a way more capable machine in technical terrain. Very easy to keep on its side and can whip 180s on a dime even with stock board and panel width. I think the kit would work even better on the nose heavy 1100T. I ran skinz kit on a 15 last year as well. Best bang for your buck is Barcode between the two kits. Barcode also has a steering mod that increases turning radius which also helps it sidehill steeper slopes compared to stock or skinz. Its simple and easy to install the steering mod.

I ran bdx on a 14. Wouldnt run that kit again. I actually lost turning radius compared to stock which took away how steep it could side hill. And I bent like 10 of their spindles on minor ski hits. But they did redesign the spindle since then. Also broke the upper a arm bracket too. Which is a timely fix on that setup. I feel the 1100 needs a forward kit like Barcode or Skinz. Bdx doesnt move the spindle forward.

Stock 16 is 1.5" forward. Skinz 3.5" forward. Barcode 5" forward. I have no experience with alt impact

I just did the 16 front end on my 13 1100. NIGHT and DAY DIFFERENCE. I was seriously considering selling the sled but now I'm not. No issues with trail and pulls over and holds a line 10x easier. I also use 8" Sly Dogs. I am truly shocked with the difference. Best $500 I've spent yet.

I'd like to narrow up my 15 m900. Simple as just installing 16 kit?? What about front shocks? BTW, love this power!! Thanks

You should shorten shocks or buy correct length.
Two reasons; 1. to keep the upper a-arms off the body panels when the skis are in the air.
2. The tie rods rub hard on the lower A-arms when shocks are fully extended.

However, i did not. I bought short nylock nuts and used shims(3/16") under the tierod ends, then i made limiter straps to prevent shocks from extending all the way to keep upper arms off body panels.

Thanks! Limiter straps look like a great idea. Still have stock skis, can't tell in pic? What about air pressure?? 75 in front now. M9000 2015 162

Awesome idea!!

I'm personally waiting for the Barcode kit that uses the 16 spindle. I think its going to make riding the 4 strokes effortless. Yes, 4 stroke and effortless in the same sentence. :face-icon-small-ton

You can use your stock shocks (without modification) that came on the 38 inch wide kit too which is a big plus.

I got some time on the 16 spindles with the barcode kit. Definitely a step up from the 15 spindles. And tighter steering... This full kit turns much tighter than my stock 16 front end.
