1/23/14 Pic of the Day:
Well that's obviously not me. Picture was taken in the spring of '84 and has a '85 Silver Plus prototype in the backround. I was still a twinkle that that mans eye when this picture was taken.
Here's one I remember tho. '89 Mach 1 with NOS nitrous. Callahan Lake.
I was about 4yrs old and it got fogged in later on that day. We were coming up to the draw that came down to the lake but couldn't see it. All of a sudden we were airborne and heading downhill. I was sitting in front of my dad and when the sled landed, he got bucked off the back, and I shot forward hooking my boot in those funky handlebars Doo had back then. As I was dangling off the front of the hood staring at the front nosecone of the sled, my dad was hanging on my one arm trying to pull himself back up onto the sled. Just before he hit the bottom of the hill he pulled me backwards and back into the seat. That would be the 1st time my dad almost killed me with many more to come! Hahaha

Okay, I'll play.
This was in 1991 on a semi legal ride (I think the statute of limitations has passed) up to a place called Sunrise in the Mount Rainier park in the winter.
Blu-bird day with just me and my older brother and the Lodge and Mountain in the background.
I wouldn't do this today however... $500 federal trespass fine if you got caught.
I know better today!

Early 80's water testing.
340 RV carried my pops 14.5 miles up river in what our City dubbed the Great Snowmobile RiverRun. It was an event that was part of SummerFest. Bikini Contest, vendors, sideshows, all out enjoyment for the family for a weekend.
Landed him in the record books for this run.
