It's not just the dealer, the Ski-Doo guys at the booth for the Snowest UT how also said you can't run the quick clickers because the side panels on the XM are trimmed up and closer in to the clutches.

I've got them on my '13 and took it for a little ride today. No rubbing. Maybe I'm missing something, but they don't look like the even come close to the side panel.

i have the quickclickers on and no rubbing , same clutch gaurd as xp i think,i put it on its side today a couple times still looks good

Rubbing on some clickers, but also the new bolts only need a few turns and you can turn the bolts so fast without using quick clickers, and leave the cover in it keeps it cooler and also gets rid of belt dust better...still blow out your clutches often though...
