Pro taper bars?

Will the pro-taper bars from the 09-10 or the Pro sleds swap over to the 700 / 900? I realize the whole center pad thingie will have to go, but is there room for the 700 controls on the pro-taper bars?

I also thought there was a change in bar mount type at some point too, but not sure what, if anything, that effects.

Yes, they will for fine. Only issue will be the control housing, u will need to file the inside at an angle (you'll see) so it will work in the angle.

Crap. I need more sleds...

Thanks guido. One more thing, heaters compatible? They just plug in or at worst, work with a connector change? How much rise do these end up giving over stock?

U will have to change the connector got the grip heaters. I just used some from an old wiring harness and also from generic wiring harness u can get in the trailer section in ur local hardware or parts store. (3-way)

Total rise is 6" on pro taper high rise bars. Over at sock bars I would say 3-4" taller
