If you put a 174 on there, you're gonna wanna extend that tunnel on the 01 chassis. LOL

Unless your 800 has all the normal over the counter power mods available, porting, and even maybe running NOS, then a 174" is too much IMO. Longer track won't help climbing crap if you don't have the power to spin the track. I have an 05 edge rmk 800 with all the over the counter power mods minus NOS and I would personally never go bigger than a 162" track. No reason to, and I ride in the light powder capital of Colorado...

NITROSKIDUDE, That looks like a killer.
I thought of doing that when it's time to change out my 162.
What differences have you noticed against the 162?
Is there enough power to keep that trackspeed up with standard engine and clutching only?

Yea as long as you have got it dialed in Then the onlything you will notice is raw hookin up power to the ground, and i have tighted my limerter strape tighter than I have ever run them befor, and I still find myself leaning over the bars to keep the nose down:D:D:D

Chill out bud, I was being totally friendly. Just offering my opinion, everyone has one. This is a public forum right? Get pissed about it, that'll make people want to try to help you out more in the future for sure! Yeah that guy above has a 1000. You have an 800 Liberty. It's gonna cost more than "I'll sink a little money into it" to make that 800 do what it needs to, to pull that track and see GAINS climbing. Again, just throwing in my $.02 ;) :beer;

ok sorry for gettin pissed like that just it seams like everytime something different is tried some one is shot down if you know what im saying. but i probly wont put that track on in now if you think it needs 10 grand worth of engine parts and track parts maby a 166 like the polaris 900? i dunno thats why i came here is to see if it can be done

but if i can would i see some good gains? and what would i need to buy to have it still spin the track
