I just put a set of CFR bars on my M8 and I think the stock grips would be too short and too big as well. I ordered a set of 8" ODI ruffian grips and loving them so far. had to trim them because they were about 1/2" too long but good fit otherwise.
I highly recommend ODI grips. with an air compressor they go on smooth a silk. Plus they come in like 8 different colors this year.

Good to know. The bad thing is that I live in Norway and I have to order a set. And shipping price from US/CAD is almost twice the price of the grips. So my grips will end up costing me 80-100$. And there is almost 200 km to the closest place selling grips here in Norway where I live
