freshly rebuilt bottom and top end, runs great

the problem is when u try to feather the throttle off the line, it seems almost like there is no throttle at all kinda bogs until u give it a bit more then it almost throws you off the seat
if u just nail the throttle it will perform great, putting around the yard just slow huge dead spot!

had it on a tester and it read that the exhaust sensor was erratic so I changed it and it didn't help
tps was set
clutch is rebuilt, not hanging up
new fuel filter

any ideas? can the tps have a dead spot ?

thanks

My TPS had a dead spot at about 3/4 throttle...changed it out and everything back to normal.

Doing a resistance sweep throughout the entire throttle range with a good analog meter is supposed to be the best method to find a dead spot. just look for the needle to jump as you move throughout the range...
