I just bought a 07 m1000 with a jaws can, otherwise stock, fuel map reflashed by arctic cat dealer. I read on D&D that you have to run a fuel pressure regulator for their Y-pipe if under 7,000 feet, this sled has the D&D y pipe on it, and I will be running it at 6000 feet, Will I need to put the regulator on or put stock y pipe back on?

i ran my 07 1000 with d&d y-pipe and can and opened up airbox from 6000 to 11000 ft with no problem.....however, i had a friend with the same setup that fried a piston on a long pull, but neither of us reflashed the computer....it's my understanding that the re-flash put a little more fuel on the top end

go with an egt box............then you can see if your running hot and know if you need the reg. I've got the egts and a boondocker control box......knowing your temps is extremely helpful

I have the BMP adjustable fuel regulator.

Ran at 50psi prior to the reflash. After the flash it ran like crap. Went to 48psi and it is much better. Could problably go down a bit more but runs well so I will leave it.

Stock is around 45psi. Running 48 don't plan to change.

But like others have said you "should" be fine if you had the reflash. I don't have the guages to monitor so again I will leave it alone.
