Persuade with a hammer until it fits.

You have to put your hot pockets in when you leave in the morning, takes a little while to cook.

In my experience that location might warm up your hot dog buns but won't cook the dogs. IMO.

Got to get it just after the Y pipe.

That’s what I was afraid of. Will it get my soup to steaming hot?

Pretty tough to access the y pipe location without removing the hood.

It fits on the opposite side of the muffler from cornfusions post. I can take a pic if you need one.

You can put it in the middle of the pipe, just notch the crimp on the pipe cover for the hose clamp. It’s medium, predictable heat and all you have to do is untwist the two hood pins and lift up to get your arm in there. Works great and clean install.

after the y pipe, just past the bulk head brace. i've had a pot there on my last 3 sleds. no need to remove the hood, just pop open the clutch side panel. obviously there is great heat there, you can cook a sandwich for lunch, then throw some sausages in for a snack after the ride.

I have mine sitting right above my turbo on the pipe a few inches up from where it connects to the turbo and it works great. I added a longer clamp to fit around the pipe. Doesn't get too hot.
