I'm running a 07 M8 153, speedwerx pipe, d&d y,v-force reeds, and rtk clutch kit. I just got this sled and put the pipe and reeds on. It was set up with d&d y, slp 72's and running rest stock previously. I'm riding the bighorns 7500-10000', I probably weight about 220 suited up. Any Suggestions, weights, helix, primary secondary springs????

What are the rest of you running?

Thanks in advance!!!

Not sure how much I can help you out with setup since mine's mostly stock. I have the cutler adjustable weights in both of my sleds and would highly reccommend them. They're super easy to adjust and are a good start for sure. I'm running a slp blue/pink in my primary. The only change in my secondary is the d&d shift assist bearing. I ride 9000-13000 feet. I know there is still A LOT of room for improvement, but it's much better than stock setup.

I'm not sure what the best clutch weight would be, Kelsey at RKT would probably be the person to call for that. As far as helix and secondary spring, I'm running a 36 degree helix and a green snopro spring. I'm ridding about the same elevation. I believe the red and white spring is either the same or close to the green snopro. Hope this helps a little.

AC Orange spring in the front, green spring in the back. 38/34 helix, but 36 or 34 will also work.
I run anywhere from 67-69# cutlers at those elevations depending on snow conditions. Take weight out until you get it to hold your desired RPM. (I target 8200 RPM)

Would you still target that same RPM if you were running NOS? I'm at 7800 to 7900 at WOT and get 8200 to 8300 when the NOS is activated. I guess my question is could I take out weight to get to the 8200 RPM and be okay with a 400 RPM increase when I activate the NOS. It seems like 8600 RPM's might be a little scary.
