What is the general thoughts on a gel battery for snowmobiles. Looking at a Bikemaster gel battery, but to tell you the truth know nothing about batteries or gel ect... Application is just the small little battery for a 05 skidoo 1000. (no electric start)

Are you using it for electric start?

There's not a big difference between those and AGM's electrically and current-vs-temperature....

i thought you could put a bullet through a gel battery and she keeps working...??

I have a gel filled one in my dirtbike I have had the bike now for about six years and I have not touched it yet. I have never taken it out over the winter and when i start my bike in the spring the bat is as strong as the day I bought the bike.
