I have Studio 14 and it's too complicated and I don't have the time to figure it out by watching 1000 YT vids and reading the 400 page manual with it.

What is out there that is a good, user friendly product that a guy can make some decent vids with?

Nobody can share what editor they use?

I'm sure that this Pinnacle is good stuff, I just don't have the time to read a 400 page manual or watch 2 hours of YT vids to figure it out.

Need something that is user friendly and fast to edit.

Sony Vegas Pro 10

I have Sony Vegas Pro 10 (bought it a couple of years ago). It is about $550. It is a professional editting program for HD but its fairly easy to use. Hope this helps

truth fully no matter what you get, its gonna take some time and have a learning curve. There is nothing easy about editing. buckle down, learn it. might be able to pick up a few side jobs from local people that want videos put together.

I use vegas pro real basic cost 50.00. Does ok with hd but not the best. I cannot run two different clips side by side. I can slow clips down. Does tend to lock up on occasion.

Have used windows movie maker (windows 7), Finial Cut Pro 10, and Sony Vegas Pro 9-12.

I hear it all the time from friends... "I have 40GB of helmet cam video from my Go Pro but how do I make a cool movie" I point them to windows movie maker in windows 7 or 8. Its very simple and gets the job done. Don't get me wrong if you have the time and want to go into detailed effects go with FCPX or Vegas Pro but really they are unnecessary for 95% of the people who own a camera/helmet cam. Being an IT pro I am a strong believer in keeping it simple and standardize for the customer.
