Wondering if anyone has rode both big bores and/or had any dyno specs on the 950. Also which one is more reliable and biggest power gains.

With that said I have not been on a cpc 950 but at $6500 you would be money a head to go a head and buy a new 2015 prolite with the 940 in it.
New sled 12k plus 6500 just for the kit is 18500 plus labor and still going to be over 450lb sled.
Put a belt drive on it for 800 and you drop almost 10lb more.
$3500 for a 950 CPC with fuel controller.

Where are you getting $6500? I got a quote from CPC on a 950 big bore last season and (I don't remember exactly but) I want to say it was in the $3500 range.
I already have a bikeman y-pipe and can. I'll have 50mm throttle bodies in and reeds. Pipe I'm undecided on so far. I do know there was a thread on the 950 but never said what power was out of it. The only thing I need is the big bore and controller
Also I know the bikeman kit you need the 940 pipe for low elevation and also a 940 can. On the 940 can did they just use a larger tube for it compared to the other can?
I'll be wanting high and low elevation heads. Both kits have positive feedback from what I've seen. Be nice if cpc had a dyno specs on their big bore.
On Cutler's website I got to $5840 by the time all their clutching, pipes, throttle bodies, and a set of reeds added. If you included their redline gauge then you are another $1000 (not that this is needed). Not saying one is better than the other, but like MMSports said, make sure you are comparing apples to apples.
I have the Cutler 950 in my full carbon chassis, and also have a SLP Stage 2 sled with carbon hood, tank, lightweight seat, belt drive etc.
My 950 wasn't tuned correctly, but hoping WKM can get that sorted for me.
We side by side raced my wifes SLP sled against my full carbon 950 and it was within 1 sled length every race. I wasnt too excited about that to be honest...
We also had a bone stock 2014 Assault with a can on it that was side by side with my wifes stage 2 sled (about $23,000 into that machine) and it was almost neck and neck on the same pulls. I'm a cat guy, but that hurts.
Yeah, I came off a 330hp M1100 turbo that was 100 pounds less than stock, and hoped for a bit more on this build. Will see what WKM can do in terms of tuning. Rumour has it that Linderman get a tune nailed down pretty good for a very similar build to mine. if I can get that loaded up and it helps I will be a bit happier. Maybe put a bit of boost into it if not, or go back to a 4 stroke.
The 950 would shine in a longer pull. We were in valemount playing around that day, a decent pull, but nothing that a stock 800 shouldn't be able to tackle in my opinion.
Last time we had the 950 cf out it seemed to run good but we didn't have another 800 in the group to compare it to, only 1100's, and powerwise they aren't close in our group. Your old one with the bc275 hp kit pulls substantially harder even without the ic fan kit and the clutching in it. Hard going back to 2s power after having 100+ hp more but handling is different and how beat you are at the end of the day is sure nice.
As soon as some snow drops we'll get to cracking on the old girl.
