So whats the deal with meadowlark the lodge is it closed and the cabins

I believe they are renting out a few rooms on the weekend. Not 100% sure though. But deer haven lodge is just a few miles away and they have rooms, and the people who own it also own meadowlark and the ski lodge. You could give them a call and they would have some answers for you. And the snow up there is great!
Last I heard that the lodging there on the lake was not liveable because of the problems with the sewer getting into the lake... I can remember eating at the lodge there when i was young, but it hasnt been open for quite a few years. There is still the ski lodge, but no rooms there just food and drink... Deer haven has the only rooms over on that side on the mountain.
