Got a two inch riser on my M right now and want to go about four or five if possible. What is everyone doing? Also I want to get some different boards.. dont like kicking snow.. What to get? Cutlers. Better Boards. Eliminators. Or No Snos???

3 inch was pretty tight on my 07, you could probably squeeze a 4 inch in there. on the 07 the nosnos are absolutley the best you can buy. you will not have to ever worry about snow in the boards again. the snoweliminators still have to be kicked out, snow sticks to the aluminum, nosnos are plastic with no snow build up. you will love them i guarantee it:) they are my favorite mod on my sled...

89sandman is right. Nosnos are the ticket. Installed mine last year and all my buddies were amazed...no snow biuldup.

Going to increase from 2" riser myself. Not sure 4" will work without extensions, but I will try.

Just installed the new adjustable Cat handlebars like the 09 M8s on my 07 M8 and there was enough cable for it...I think it raises up to about 4 inches. Couldn't be any longer though I don't think.

I have a 4" riser on mine with no extensions. Works just fine. I only had to cut one zip tie to give me plenty of cable. All sleds are a little different but you should be able to pull it off no problem.

I have an Ole's riser on mine its the 3" and works great. 4" would be too tight without doing extensions.

4" on mine but I cut the zip tie on the brake line and move the throttle cable to the other side of the motor, plenty of room. I'm 6'6" and 4.5 is all the taller I would go 5 and up is to tall.

I have a 5 inch on my 2008. Not sure what is different but I have no extensions at all and it works fine.
