We have ridden Boulder and Two other secret spots, If you are good you can tell from the pics where they were taken.... however we can't tell you where they are on threats of having our tongs cut out:eek: (I'm not kidding). that and we were blindfolded for the ride in.;)
Conditions are great and today we rode in untracked powder 90% of the day.
there is a weak layer that is causing alot of slides everywhere right now and you have to be extra cautious of it. It will be even more dangerous after more snow lands on top of this 18-24" of slab that we see breaking everywhere. some of the fractures have been on moderate angle slopes, so Please everybody be careful.
One more day of sun and Saturday the snow comes back to cover our tracks so there should be plenty of fresh for you guys Brandy.:D

Good times Brian and Nicki........glad you could spend the day!:D
We had a blast as well......come back soon!!

The sloughs were coming down easier than expected.......this is the one HRR brought down after a small pull.
south slopes were droppin and a few of the NW as well.
Stay off the hills until they tighten up everyone.

Anyone heading out that way pls read this link.

The new report hasn't been issued yet for the next few days so hard to tell if the conditions have improved, hopefully, but read the Persistant Weak Layers (PWL) bulletin in this snow report. Looks like this is what is causing most of the movement. Moisture-laden spring snow is like concrete when it slides, you do not want to be caught in an avy.

Have fun and be safe!
