I would agree with Bullfrog123, take the first $900 that comes along, and no that is not an offer! The 98' 600 is a first year motor, some of them have been known to have piston problems but if it has gone 3400 miles yours is probably not one of them.
An 11 year old sled is as 76FOMOCO said "extinct" by todays technological advancements, most of the 03-05 are even dated.
The advancements year after year in this industry just kills resale, then add marginal snow years, over production, seasonal use item and now economic downturns and that equals a soft secondary market. Sorry for the bad news but thats what I have seen over the last 3-4 years and I have been on both sides of this equation. It makes an expensive sport that much more expensive.
