First post. Have been reading a lot.
I just bought a 2016 axys rmk with 3600 km (private sale).
It came with a MBRP can on it. The can is causing the pipe to sit in a way that it is rubbing through the cross member. Ive attached a thumbnail. It is right above the electric starter.
It is quite deep. Almost all the way through I would say.
The sled is under warranty but I don't expect this to be covered.
I have no idea what to do about this (I'm a carpenter and don't know much about metal...)
I have put the stock can back on for now and it is far from rubbing anymore but I can't help but feel this is a very serious structural issue.
