Had a ceramic coated stock pipe on my old 08 m8. Never had any issues. Did seem to work better than the stock one. But I bought it used, didn't look like it was altered. Was thinking of doing my mountain cat one but pretty sure i'm going to do a jaws pipe.

Our Y pipe is stainless steel, and our pipe mod pipes come ceramic coated. Trade your stock pipe in for $100 credit too!

The y pipe and Pipe combo makes a solid 10 hp with tons of low end torque and grunt!
