Default 03 vert escape.

Looking to make some changes to my front end. Is there anything I can do to give me more clearance and shorten the front end? I'm in the process of doing some weight reduction. Got rid of all my lights and wiring, smaller seat, better runners. I'm curious what I can do about the engine bay/ hood.

Mesh hood.
Becareful in the trees though. Tears a bit easy. Mesh hoods are noisy and ugly but lots of weight loss.

I had thought about going mesh, full disclosure I even considered a good frame and paper mache. Lol

You can pull the motor and turn the chassis into swiss cheese. Better to know something about stresses before you drill holes in the wrong places.
