Default Broken handlebar on left side on 2013 Summit 800. Anyone seen this

Just bought the sled made it about a hundred feet down the trail and snap left side handlebar broke off where the hole is for the mountain bar. Is this a common thing

yep i have seen that, quick note dont buy the same replacements, either get the X handlebars or CFR. Might as well throw ODI grips on it while your at it.

Pretty common because of the way the mounted the mountain strap. Should have been a clamp not a bolt through the handle bars.

They changed it in 2014 so the mountain strap clamps on and doesn't bolt through to eliminate that weak point.
