Working on 700sks that will go into retard mode and shut one cylinder down when machine heats up, no lights come on dash. We have replaced or traded with known good parts and still does same thing. Replaced water pump impellar, belt, new aftermarket stator, sensor in head, checked TPS, traded out airbox with coils, been through carbs and reeds, traded out fuel pump and kill switch. Bleeding cooling system several times and ways. Still machine will go to a certain point then go into the retard mode and shut a cylinder down. Any suggestions would be great.

Do you know if the coolant is circulating through the coolers sufficiently? Run it at speed and stop to check temperature between right and left running boards. If coolant is not circulating the right one will be hot and left one considerably cooler. Is the temp light bulb good?
