Default 2000 bearcat fc 440.. good/bad. Give me the lowdown

So the title says it all. I'm looking at a 2000 Bearcat fc 440 and want to hear what people have to say about them.. I'll be using it for some utility at times and going Tru unpacked deep snow.. how are they reliability wise? Is not having a hi/low range transmission a problem or does this wide ratio thing the bearcat has work well? Should I hold out for a better utility sled or will this hold up to the other options. Thanks and happy holidays!
